- Test Voltage [V]
- Hold Time [s]
- Pass / Fail Limit [μA]
How to dimension these recipe values:
- Certification and Testing Standard (UL or IEC)?
- Dimensions of the photovoltaic module being tested hipot?
- Do you want to only carry out a high voltage withstanding test, or also a insulation resistance test?
- Test conducted inline or for lab sampling?
- Test method being applied (wet, moist, dry)?

4.) World record in Hipot Testing of a PV module:
The highest known value of 30KV tested on a photovoltaic module was reached during tests in April 2008 at the HARREXCO Technology Center in Langenzenn / Germany. The result will be demonstrated by video on this page soon…
